City Disconnect Switch

City Disconnect Switch

The City Disconnect switch enables the disconnection of the City Fire Alarm Box from reporting any Alarm or Trouble condition to the city, which allows for testing and maintenance of the Fire Alarm System. Disconnect switches prevent false alarms during testing, inspection, and routine maintenance operations. Gemcom’s Trouble Bell Stations are designed to comply with the Class 1 and 2 type building requirements for the City of Chicago.

› When switched to the “DISCONNECTED” position, a white pilot light illuminates, indicating the station’s disconnection status.
