Special Use Maintenance Switch
The Special Use Maintenance switch is a key-operated switch that disconnects the actuation circuits in fire alarm and suppression systems to prevent accidental agent discharge. It is designed specifically for fire alarm, fire suppression systems, and fire alarm control panels. The Special Use model features extra space for optional input modules. For enhanced security, the key can only be removed in the “SYSTEM ARMED” position.
› In the “SYSTEM ARMED” position, the green LED illuminates.
› In the “SYSTEM INACTIVE” position, the red LED illuminates.

- This Special Use Maintenance Switch provides space for an optional input module.
- Each assembly includes four 6-32” x 1/2” mounting screws and a set of B721 keys.

Installation
Flush Mount installation requires a two-gang plaster ring on any 4-inch-deep square (1900) back box.
Surface Mount installation requires a 2.5” deep, compatible back box.
Red Surface Mount Back Box (GEM2GRB) is not included.
