Push Button Abort Switch
The Push Button Agent Abort switch provides temporary manual intervention by interrupting the agent actuation circuit between the initial alarm and automatic release of the fire suppression agent. This prevents inadvertent agent discharge, especially in gaseous or clean agent systems. The abort station is equipped with a yellow momentary push button.
› In addressable systems utilizing input modules, the switch is connected with a normally open (NO) contact, which completes the actuator circuit upon pressing.
› In conventional systems, the switch is connected with a normally closed (NC) contact, which breaks the actuator circuit upon pressing.
Features
- Provides a momentary push button that provides a means for temporary manual interruption of the agent actuation circuit between.
- Securely mounted on a two-gang stainless-steel switch plate, operating on 24VDC.
- (1) Standard Normally open contact. Additional contacts available for an additional cost.
- Compatible with both addressable and conventional Fire Alarm systems.
- Each assembly includes four 6-32” x 1/2” mounting screws and a set of B721 keys.
