Mushroom Abort Switch
The Mushroom Agent Abort switch provides temporary manual intervention by interrupting the agent actuation circuit between the initial alarm and the automatic release of the fire suppression agent. This prevents inadvertent agent discharge, especially in gaseous or clean agent systems. The abort station is equipped with a yellow momentary mushroom-style push button.
› In addressable systems utilizing input modules, the switch is connected with a normally open (NO) contact, which completes the actuator circuit upon pressing.
› In conventional systems, the switch is connected with a normally closed (NC) contact, which breaks the actuator circuit upon pressing.
